Council Scholarship

Scholarships are available to the son or daughter of a present or deceased member of Council 1043. It is a $500 scholarship that the recipient continues to receive during their 4 years of college. All we ask for is an update every year. The scholarship committee selects a recipient from the applications received. Click on Council Scholarship for full information and follow the directions. Applications with transcripts must be received before the due date on the application.

Knights of Columbus St. Jude Council 1043

Christmas Food Basket

Every year, Knights and their families collect food and money donations to box/bag food for Christmas food baskets. Each basket in recent years, consists of two large boxes full of food and other items. It takes over many volunteers to accomplish this great effort of collecting, purchasing, sorting and boxing each basket. The baskets are then distributed on a Saturday morning to needy families in Elkhart and Goshen areas by volunteer drivers consisting of Knights, their families, friends and community.

The spaghetti dinners are a direct fundraiser for various causes/charities where the net proceeds from the dinner (after expenses) go to them. Past beneficiaries include:
